About Dr. Pruitt

Dr. Pruitt graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with honors and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. 

Dr. Pruitt resides and practices in Birmingham, Alabama, while splitting time in Florida and New York, as well.

Dr. Pruitt has owned Vestavia Family Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics since 1994 and Magic City Dentistry since 2018, is the Owner and President of the C.A.P. Stone Dental Assisting Program private school in Birmingham, and is the Chief Clinical Director, Lecturer, Trainer, and Owner of the C.A.P. Stone Academy of Facial Aesthetics. 

Dr. Pruitt has been providing facial injectables with Botulinum toxin & dermal fillers for both cosmetic and therapeutic applications in his private practices, to his patients, since 2009. 

Dr. Pruitt is Fellowship-Trained and Certified by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. Dr. Pruitt is a national injectables trainer and travels throughout the United States teaching, lecturing, and training doctors on both beginner and advanced Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, therapeutic Botulinum toxin applications, and lip rejuvenation with dermal fillers. 

He has lectured to and mentored more than 750 doctors at courses throughout the United States, including Birmingham, Miami, Arizona, Gainesville, New York, Atlanta, Tampa, South Carolina, Orlando, Chicago, and Mississippi.

Dr. Pruitt provides his years of training and techniques to patients in Birmingham, Alabama by creating incredible smile makeovers often accompanied by facial and lip rejuvenation with injectables in his private practice settings. 

He is actively involved with multiple dental schools, charitable organizations, international surgical missions, and his local community. Dr. Pruitt travels the globe to address the needs of those in third-world countries and annually provides free surgical care to the underserved in Oklahoma.

Dr. Pruitt has many years of advanced dental, smile makeovers, facial aesthetics, cosmetic, and surgical training in Alabama, New York, Miami, Orlando, and Las Vegas allowing him to provide care and compassion to thousands of patients who otherwise would continue to suffer.

Dr. Pruitt annually lectures on the cosmetic and therapeutic uses of Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers to the senior dental students at UAB School of Dentistry as a guest lecturer requested by the UAB faculty of the School of Dentistry and has lectured to graduating seniors at the University of Florida School of Dentistry.
